About the Fourth District

ImageThe Fourth Council District spans from the westernmost part of Anne Arundel County, where the Patuxent River divides Anne Arundel and Prince George’s County east to the Severn River.  It includes Maryland City, Laurel, Russett, Fort Meade, Severn, Odenton, Gambrills, Crofton, Millersville and Crownsville.  It is an ethnically and geographically diverse community. Long time residents share their neighborhoods with newly-arrived residents a trend that will continue as Fort Meade and NSA begin to grow.  It is a community shared by hard-working families, farmers, small business owners and the region’s largest population of members of the Armed Forces.
